Options for the format of exported data and lineup images.
Choose the type of pixel grid to be drawn in lineup images:
- None (no grid will be drawn).
- Pixel grid (the default).
Draws a pixel grid starting at the top-left corner of the lineup image. The size of each grid cell (50px by default) can be set. An extra marker will be drawn every n
pixels, unless zero is specified.
- Grid squares.
This option will draw the specified number of grid squares, with an optional marker every n
grid cells. The Whole squares
button will attempt to calculate a cell size which fits whole squares to the surface area.
The width of the line can be specified in pixels. By default this is 2px, but for very high resolution Displays this may need to be increased for better visibility.
Use Display Colours
will draw Display outlines using the colours specified in the Display Group settings, rather than the default colour.
Use grid colour
will use the colour specified for the grid in the View Options
tab.
Invert grid colours
will produce a black-out-of-white image, rather than the default black background and white foreground colours.
Crosshatch pattern
will draw a grid of diagonal coloured lines to aid lineup in softedge areas.
Toggles for the display of Display and Group data:
Display Group ID
shows the Group ID in square brackets - e.g. [1]
.
Display Group Name
shows the Group name.
Display ID
shows the ID as a large number in each Display.
Column/Row Numbers
shows the column & row number of each Display (useful for LED walls).
Display Coordinates
shows the coordinates of Display corners and soft edges. In physical grids, these are shown in physical units.
Softedge Text Overlay
adds repeating Display Builder
text to softedge areas to aid lineup.
The toggles on the left side activate the corresponding file or format.
Display data
will export the data for all Display Groups in the chosen format:
Data: WO v7- Watchout v7.
Data: WO v6- Watchout v6.
Data: WO v5- Watchout v5.
Data: WO v4- Watchout v4.
CSV Data Table- a CSV text file with all Display data.
Data: D3- A Projector list and Surface .OBJ file for D3 / Disguise.
CSV: Kinetic Surfaces- A CSV file with RenderSurface data for Modulo Kinetic.
JSX: PSD script- a script file to create a Photoshop image with correctly positioned outputs.
File: MPCDI- an MPCDI format file.
The Copy Data
button will copy data - in supported formats only - to the clipboard.
The Export Files
button will open a file dialog to choose a destination folder in which to save the data files and selected lineup images.
Pixel Grid
will export a lineup image at the resolution of the Display Group.
Colour Bars
will export a rec709 colour bar image at the Display resolution.
Physical Grid
will export a lineup image at a resolution which includes all Display Groups.
PSD JSX script
will export a JSX script, optimised for Modulo XMAPs, to generate layers for DisplayGroups in Photoshop.
N.B. Depending on the memory available, alignment images may be created at a reduced scale. In this case, the scale will be indicated in the filename.
